Today our customers are progressively adopting open standards for BIM to enhance collaboration and avoid missing out on project opportunities. However, the transition requires a level of knowledge and expertise that cannot be acquired overnight.
At Kabandy we bring our expertise at the service of our customers to support operations on BIM models on an as-needed basis and, meanwhile, increase the experience of the project teams.
1. Signature of an NDA
Confidentiality of data related to a construction project is critical. Hence, we do sign an non-disclosure agreement before receiving any BIM data.
2. Make a diagnosis
We scan the deficient IFC file using our tools and inspect the customer's workflow to identify the problem and isolate the cause. A diagnostic report follows.
3. Set an action plan
According to the budget and expectations, we agree on the timeframe and the execution of the future actions to repair the BIM model.
4. Execution of our methods
The operations to solve the problem are usually performed on our servers, in less than ten business days. The repaired BIM model is given back.
5. Write an mission report
We provide a report describing the operations performed and providing complementary advices to avoid similar deadlocks in the future.
The advantage of working directly on IFC data brings value to our customers.
Our deep knowledge and expertise in BIM helps us detecting exactly where the problem is and how to repair it, without altering the whole BIM model.
Use of advanced technologies
Our scientific background led us to develop breakthrough automation technologies to manage BIM data.
We do not only solve the problem, we also aim to improve the experience of the project team.
